Mochi Solutions Pte Ltd (“We”, “Us” or “Mochi”) values and respects your right to privacy. This Privacy Notice will inform you of the personal information that we collect, the purposes for the collection, the parties to whom we may disclose your personal information, the security measures that we put in place to protect your information, your rights with respect to your personal information, and how you may contact us with any questions, concerns, or requests you may have regarding your personal information.
This Privacy Notice applies to your use of any of Mochi’s services, Mochi’s website, and anycommunications sent to us through any of our communication channels.
“Personal Information” means information about an identified individual or that may lead to the identification of an individual. Mochi collects the following Personal Information when you use the following services:
a. Mochi Platform (Accounts Receivables) – authorized user details, your company’s information, including the company name, address, name of authorized signatory, tax identification number, your buyer’s information, including buyer company’s name, billing address, name and email address of contact person, tax identification number, and corresponding invoice information, including invoice number, invoice amount, invoice date, invoice send date, days outstanding, and other information necessary for the creation of invoices and financial reports. We also use cookies to manage user sessions.
b. Website – when you book a demo with us through the website, we will be collecting the names and email addresses of the attendees, and any notes you may have for us. We also use cookies to manage user sessions.
c. Online communication – where you communicate with us online, including through email or any of our social media channels, we will collect the details of the account from where you sent your communication (e.g., email address, social media account name, etc.) and the contents of your message to us.
We may use your Personal Information to:
- Process your account
- Create and send invoices to your buyers
- Create aging reports and other financial reports
- Respond to your communications to us
- Communicate with you about the products and services offered by Mochi and any of our partners
- Operate, assess, and improve our business
- Protect against and prevent fraud, and other legal or information security risks
- Other related and reasonably expected purposes
Where we will use your Personal Information for a completely new purpose, we will notify you prior toprocessing, and obtain your consent, where required by law.
We may share your Personal Information with:
- Our service providers, to the extent necessary for the performance of their services
- Government agencies and law enforcement agencies, to respond to legitimate requests or when required by law
- Third parties for fraud monitoring and prevention purposes, or other purposes required by law
- Third parties whose features you use in connection with our products and services or with your consent
- Third parties in the event of a sale or transfer of our business or assets
- Social media networks when you engage with us through those platforms
- Other entities as required under applicable law
Mochi believes in the importance of securing your Personal Information. We maintain reasonable technical, organizational, and physical security measures necessary to protect your Personal Information against accidental, unlawful, or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use. These include, but are not limited to, two-factor authentication, behavior anomaly detection tools, and SSL encryption.
Where your Personal Information is no longer necessary for the purposes disclosed to you in this Privacy Notice, and in other notices that we may present to you, we shall take all reasonable steps to delete your Personal Information or keep it in a form that prevents the identification of individuals. We may retain your Personal Information for a longer period when we are required by law to keep it for an extended period.
In the countries where Mochi operates, we recognize that you may have the following rights regarding your Personal Information:
a. The right to opt-out or withdraw your consent to Mochi’s use of your Personal Information, including cookies and similar technologies, and the use of your Personal Information for direct marketing purposes. We will respect your choices and we will inform you when your request will prevent us from providing you with the products or services you are seeking or when the processing of such Personal Information is a legal requirement.
b. The right to request access to and receive information about the Personal Information we maintain about you, to update and correct inaccuracies in your Personal Information, to restrict or to object to the processing of your Personal Information, to have the information anonymized, destroyed or deleted, as appropriate, or to exercise your right to data portability to easily transfer your Personal Information to another company.
c. The right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority or regulatorYou, or your authorized representative, can exercise your rights by submitting a request through the channels described in the “How to Contact Us” section below.
As our business and the privacy laws governing it evolve, this Privacy Notice may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our privacy practices. We will inform you when any material changes are made to this Privacy Notice prior to implementation. Where required by law, we may obtain your consent to the changes made to this Privacy Notice.
Where you think we have violated your rights or if our privacy practices fall short of reasonable expectations, kindly submit your complaint with us first to give us the opportunity to fix the issue.
