About Mochi Solutions
Mochi is a billing and collections platform that helps Filipino businesses get paid on time, every time by digitalizing the invoicing process and automating repetitive tasks to fuel growth.
Bulk Billing
- For firms who mostly have billable hours or per hourly rate for professionals (CPA, Lawyer, Etc.), how can Mochi make the billing process easier?
Answer: Firms can streamline billing by using Mochi’s Bulk Upload feature. They just need to fill out Mochi’s spreadsheet template with billing details. Once uploaded, Mochi will automatically create invoices and display when clients will be billed. - In addition to my question regarding billable hours, we use time based record keeping (clockify) then extract as CSV.
Answer: Great! If you’re using time-based tools like Clockify and exporting records as CSV, you can easily integrate that with Mochi using the Bulk Upload feature. Just format the extracted data using Mochi’s spreadsheet template, upload it, and the system will automatically generate invoices based on your billable hours.
Single/One Time Invoicing
- How flexible is Mochi when it comes to revision of previously issued billing?
Answer: Mochi offers flexibility in handling previously issued billings. If an invoice has already been sent/issued but not yet paid, you can update its status or void it. If the invoice has been paid, you can update the status to reflect the payment. You also have the option to duplicate the invoice if needed.
Recurring Billing
- Can we set Annual Increase for recurring fees?
Answer: Yes, you can easily set an annual increase by editing your recurring invoice, just update the fee for future billings as long as the series isn’t completed. For a more automated way to handle fee adjustments, that’s already in the pipeline! - If ever the contract agrees that there's an additional 10% for overdue payments. Would it be possible to integrate it in the billing? And send reminders once they've reached past the due?
Answer: That feature’s already in the pipeline! While you can’t auto-add late fees just yet, Mochi already sends automatic reminders once a billing is overdue—so your clients still get notified right on time.
Payment Gateway Integration (PayMongo)
- If there is bulk invoicing, is there also bulk payment? If a customer has several invoices to pay.
Answer: Yes, bulk payments are possible. If a customer has multiple invoices, Mochi, through PayMongo, can automatically verify the payments. However, if payments go directly to your bank account, disbursements are processed weekly and are subject to your bank’s payout terms. - How long it take to credit the payment from payor to payee's account?
Answer: Since we're partnered with PayMongo, payouts follow a scheduled disbursement, usually on a weekly basis. The exact crediting time may still depend on your bank's processing schedule. - Most customers now require Gcash Paymaya and online payments, the problem is how can we reconcile these payments to our accounting records. Currently manual recon is tedious.
Answer: Mochi is connected to PayMongo, which supports GCash, PayMaya, and other payment channels. This allows payments to be automatically recorded and matched to invoices, removing the need for tedious manual reconciliation. - Ask ko po kung magkano ang paymongo? Baka mas mahal sya sa bank charges?
Answer: PayMongo’s rates depend on the payment method, with credit/debit cards at around 2.9% + ₱15 per transaction and slightly lower for e-wallets like GCash or Maya. While this may be higher than standard bank transfer fees, the added value comes from instant payment confirmation, automated reconciliation, and giving your customers more convenient ways to pay, often leading to faster collections and less manual work for your team.

- Most customers now require Gcash Paymaya and online payments, the problem is how can we reconcile these payments to our accounting records. Currently manual recon is tedious.
Answer: Mochi is connected to PayMongo, which supports GCash, PayMaya, and other payment channels. This allows payments to be automatically recorded and matched to invoices, removing the need for tedious manual reconciliation. - What is the advantage of Mochi over other EP systems also doing invoicing, recurring billing, etc.?
Answer: Most ERPs don’t have payment integration and automatic reconciliation. They stop at sending invoices and reminders, leaving you to manually track who paid and who didn’t. Mochi goes further, it not only sends invoices but also connects to payment channels and automatically updates payment status as soon as a customer pays.

- Can your system be modified based on our client's requirements?

Answer: You can definitely send reminders through messaging platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, Messenger, and others, just copy the invoice link from Mochi and send it to your customer. As for SMS, based on regulations in the Philippines, sending clickable links via text message is restricted due to scam concerns. - Is there a lock in period for the subscription?
Answer: There’s no lock-in period for the subscription. You can cancel anytime, no long-term commitment required. - Is there a cover period for the P188 plan?
Answer: The ₱188/month promo is available for a limited time and applies as your monthly subscription rate while you’re part of our design partner program. - Is this designed solely for billing and collection purposes, or does it cover the entire accounts receivable (AR) process as a whole?
Answer: Once a customer selects a service and a contract is created, Mochi automatically schedules the billing. From that point, the platform supports the entire accounts receivable (AR) process, from initial billing to inquiry and collection, providing end-to-end coverage. - Is there a way to automatically remind the customers for their unpaid bills whenever they fall due?
Answer: Yes, Mochi provides automated reminders for unpaid bills. You can set it to automatically notify customers on their due date. Additionally, you have the option to send reminders individually or to all customers with overdue billings at once. - Will AI be incorporated in your system? Particularly the system will smartly recognize the payment behavior of the clients, wherein there will be more automated payment reminders for those who always pay late.
